Our Halal Privacy Grading (HPG) system is a unique rating scale from 1 to 5 that helps travellers easily understand how private an accommodation is — based on Islamic standards of modesty and privacy! Each property is carefully assessed and assigned an HPG grade:

Grade 5 (Complete Privacy)

100% private by Islamic standards. Fully private pool/outdoor space, no outsider visibility. Perfect for hijabi and niqabi sisters to remove their veil freely and relax in total peace of mind.

Grade 4 (High Privacy)

Strong privacy standards — private pool/outdoor space with very minimal outsider visibility, ideal for hijabi/niqabi guests seeking to remove their veil but remain cautious incase of an unlikely onlooker.

Grade 3 (Moderate Privacy )

Generally private and comfortable, but with some potential visibility from neighbouring areas or shared pathways. Suitable for modest travellers willing to be flexible with keeping on their veils during times of increased visibility.

Grade 2 (Limited Privacy)

Basic privacy in select areas. Pool or outdoor spaces are partially visible from public or neighbouring areas. Suitable for travellers prioritising location or value over full privacy and are happy to wear modest islamic swimwear/clothing.

Grade 1 (No Privacy)

Offers little to NO dedicated privacy features. Outdoor or pool areas are completely visible to the public. Not recommended for those seeking seclusion or veil-free relaxation.
